ICT Training Academy
An accredited training centre in Kano with delivery in Abuja and Lagos. More than 6,400 people trained since 2016, taught by engineers who spend the rest of their week building the systems they teach.
Training delivered by practitioners
The Brilliant Esystems ICT Training Academy opened in Kano in 2016 and has since put more than 6,400 people through its programmes. It is led by Aisha Mohammed Dala, Head of the ICT Training Academy, and its distinguishing feature is simple: almost every instructor is a working engineer or consultant from one of our delivery practices, teaching on release from live projects. The person taking a networking cohort through spanning tree on Monday spent the previous week commissioning switches at a client site in Kaduna, and brings the configuration file with them.
The main centre occupies two floors at our Ahmadu Bello Way headquarters in Kano, with four instructor-led rooms, two hardware laboratories stocked with real Cisco and Fortinet equipment rather than simulators alone, and a cloud laboratory with dedicated AWS and Azure subscriptions so that delegates build in real accounts. We deliver in Abuja from our Bassan Plaza office and in Lagos from Victoria Island, and we run virtual cohorts for organisations whose people are spread across states. On-site delivery at a client’s own premises is available anywhere in Nigeria for closed cohorts of twelve or more.
We are an accredited PECB training partner for ISO standards, an authorised delivery partner for CompTIA and PRINCE2 examinations, and an approved centre for Cisco and cloud vendor curricula. That matters for the certificate, but the thing employers tell us they value is the project work: every technical programme ends with a build that the delegate presents and defends, and the artefact goes into their portfolio. Our own graduate trainee intake draws heavily from Academy cohorts, and around one in nine Academy completers since 2016 has been hired by Brilliant Esystems or by one of our clients directly.

How to enrol
Five steps from first enquiry to first class. Individual enrolment usually completes within a week; organisational block bookings take two to three weeks because of procurement.
Send an enquiry
Write to [email protected] naming the course and the intended start month, or telephone +234 802 913 8013. Organisations should say how many people, in which cities, and whether delivery is wanted on their own premises. You can also use the form at /contact.
Placement conversation
For technical tracks an adviser runs a short placement conversation, and for the bootcamp a written aptitude exercise, so that nobody is sold a course they will struggle with or bored by one that is beneath them. There is no charge for this and it takes under an hour.
Confirm the cohort and receive an invoice
We confirm the start date, city, timetable and instructor, and issue a proforma invoice. Public-sector clients receive the full documentation pack needed for procurement — tax clearance, accreditation evidence, instructor CVs and a course outline.
Pay and complete registration
Payment by bank transfer secures the seat. Registration captures examination-name details exactly as they appear on official identification, which prevents the most common certification problem we see. Instalment plans over two or three payments are available on programmes above ₦400,000.
Onboarding and first class
A week before the start date you receive joining instructions, laboratory credentials, the courseware pack and the timetable. Laboratory access continues for ninety days after the final session, and every cohort keeps a group channel with the instructor for follow-up questions.

Corporate and government block bookings
Organisations training ten or more people should not buy at list price. Block rates start at a fifteen per cent discount for ten to twenty-four delegates, twenty-five per cent for twenty-five to forty-nine, and are negotiated above that. Training block-hours can be pre-purchased against a financial year and drawn down across any combination of courses, cities and cohorts for twelve months, which suits organisations whose budget release and training need do not arrive at the same time.
For MDAs we supply the full procurement pack — CAC and BPP registration evidence, current tax clearance, PECB and vendor accreditation certificates, instructor CVs, course outlines, attendance and completion reporting formats — within two working days of request. Write to [email protected] or telephone +234 802 913 8013 and ask for the Academy booking desk. Training is frequently bought alongside a platform rollout — see /solutions/school-management-system and /solutions/hr-payroll-suite — and our public-sector capability programmes are described at /industries/government.
Train a team, or start a career
Tell us who needs training and what they need to be able to do afterwards. Aisha Dala’s team will propose a cohort plan, a timetable that fits around the work, and a price that reflects the numbers involved.
