Musa co-founded Brilliant Esystems in 2014 after eleven years in network engineering and systems integration with two national integrators, where he ran field operations across the North West. He has led the company from a four-person workshop to a 180-person firm with ₦4.8 billion in annual revenue and three offices. He chairs the Executive Committee and the Investment Committee, and personally sponsors the company’s largest public-sector programmes. He remains COREN-registered and still reviews network designs for the most complex builds.

B.Sc Computer Science, M.Sc Project Management, PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP

Fatima owns end-to-end delivery across all four practice directorates and is the executive accountable for our ISO 9001:2015 quality management system. She joined in 2016 to build the project management office and has since standardised the estimating, change-control and close-out procedures that every engagement now follows. She chairs the monthly Delivery Board, where every project above ₦50 million is reviewed against schedule, margin and client satisfaction. Before joining she managed public-sector programme delivery for a Lagos systems house.

B.Sc Accounting, FCA (ICAN), Chartered Tax Practitioner (CITN)

Ibrahim is responsible for financial control, treasury, tax, procurement and investor reporting, and he sits on both the Investment Committee and the Risk & Security Committee. He introduced the contract-level margin reporting that lets the Delivery Board see profitability by project rather than by month, and he manages the working-capital discipline that allows us to fund equipment ahead of public-sector payment cycles. He qualified with a national audit practice and spent six years in financial control before joining Brilliant Esystems in 2017.

B.Sc Computer Science, M.Sc Software Engineering, PhD Distributed Systems, AWS Solutions Architect – Professional

Amina sets technical direction for the whole company: reference architectures, the approved technology list, engineering standards and the internal platform our productised solutions are built on. She led the 2019 decision to build our own hosted platform rather than resell, which now underpins BrilliantCloud and a large part of our recurring revenue. She chairs the architecture review board that must sign off every solution design above a defined value. She holds a doctorate in distributed systems and publishes on resilient system design for low-bandwidth environments.

B.Sc Sociology, MBA Human Resource Management, Associate CIPM, SHRM-CP

Halima is responsible for recruitment, learning, performance management, remuneration and the working culture of a 180-person technical organisation spread across three cities. She built the graduate trainee scheme that now supplies roughly a quarter of our junior engineering intake and the certification sponsorship policy under which the company funds vendor examinations for every engineer. She chairs the People Committee and works with the Board’s Remuneration & Nominations Committee on succession planning for senior roles.

B.Sc Business Administration, M.Sc Public Policy, Certified Procurement Professional, PRINCE2 Practitioner

Kabiru leads our relationships with federal and state institutions and owns bid management, tender compliance and public-sector account growth from the Abuja office. He has overseen submissions to more than 40 public bodies and maintains the registration and clearance calendar that keeps our BPP and NITDA status current. He is the executive contact for procurement officers who need certificates, tax clearance or references at short notice. He joined in 2017 to open the Abuja office.

B.Sc Computer Engineering, MBA, Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), PMP

Chinedu runs the Lagos office and the financial-services practice, covering banks, microfinance institutions, payment companies and telecommunications operators. He opened the Victoria Island office in 2022 and has built it into a self-sufficient delivery unit with resident engineers and its own service desk coverage. He specialises in regulated environments where audit evidence matters as much as the system itself. Before joining he spent nine years in technology risk and systems audit with a commercial bank.

LL.B, BL (Nigerian Law School), LL.M Corporate & Commercial Law, ICSAN Associate

Aminu is Company Secretary to the Board and head of the legal function, responsible for corporate governance, statutory filings, contract review and regulatory compliance including NDPR obligations. He maintains the board and committee calendar, circulates papers, records minutes and tracks resolutions to completion. He advises the Executive Committee on contract risk and leads negotiation of framework agreements and service-level terms. He is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria and is not a director of the company.
